Hotel Management laravel codecanyon project customization for a Bangladeshi client

Hotel Management is laravel9 php script from codecanyon. It's a complete Hotel Booking, Room Reservation & management solution system for your business.

Client was looking for some features extend in the system. All requirement about receptionist panel and admin panel. Booking form modification. add service charge, discount and related update in the booking list, calculation and invoice.

Technology

Most popular php framework laravel used to develop this projec. Mysql used as database management and bootstrap used as frontend framework. There are many javascript library used some of them are jquey, datatable

Requirements

Client requirement was extend existing booking form and add a new sms module and testing it.

Extend booking request form and related section based on new booking data.

Update Sms settings with a new sms gateway and testing

Add prices in extra services

Add some front end customization in the default theme

My Solution

First of all need to analysis the existing code and design pattern of development. Then make a plan to do all those modifications.

Create some migration for new data.

Added necessary functions and settings in the configurations

Added new sections in the front end and add backend view files updated with new data.

Write test case, features test and make sure all new features works as expected.
